Humansdorp Co-op partners with Harry Gwala Agri - November 2019

The Humansdorp Co-op, trading as The Co-op, have partnered with HGA and will be making a monthly sponsorship of R5000 for six months to our organisation. The Co-op is a leading agricultural business operating predominantly in the Eastern Cape but is in the process of expanding into other parts of South Africa.

The company founded the Co-Op Community Trust to bring positive change to local communities through its focus on four key development areas, namely, socio-economic growth, training and education, care of the elderly and health promotion. HGA was recently invited to speak at a conference in the Eastern Cape organised by The Co-Op alongside Landbouweekblad. The title of the conference was Opportunities in Farming: innovative solutions to drive prosperity in agriculture – a showcase of successful partnership projects in South Africa. The two-day conference was very encouraging and left us feeling privileged to be part of a suite of projects that The Co-op is investing in. We look forward to an impactful future with them.
